Nursing Assistant at Herrhagsgården Assisted Living Facility!
Herrhagsgården is an assisted living facility located in Falun, approximately 2 km outside central Falun. Herrhagsgården is a residential facility with 80 apartments distributed across 5 units for individuals with dementia. We are now seeking an additional nursing assistant to join our team!
At Herrhagsgården, nursing assistants, care workers, unit managers, nurses, and rehabilitation staff work closely together, which we consider essential! We also strive for good collaboration with other stakeholders who have responsibilities or connections to our operations.
Job Responsibilities
The work primarily involves providing excellent, person-centered care and support to our residents. Care and support work includes personal care, as well as providing assistance, security, and help with various services, such as meal situations, cleaning, and laundry, among other things. The work also involves promoting social activities and creating opportunities for individuals to maintain their own functions.
Each care recipient has a dedicated care contact who bears additional responsibility and maintains regular contact with family and close ones. Depending on interests and specialized skills, the nursing assistant role may include varying areas of responsibility.
Great focus and emphasis are placed on care staff's ability to treat residents in a person-centered manner based on behavior management plans.
Qualifications
The role requires:
Completion of a 3-year high school nursing care program or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Experience working with people with cognitive impairment.
Familiarity with using computers and mobile devices as work tools.
You must be at least 18 years old.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with individuals with dementia and is open to new approaches in care and support work.
You work well with others, are attentive, and listen actively. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. You take responsibility for the team's development and have the ability to adapt quickly to new circumstances. You can independently prioritize work tasks and remain calm even in stressful situations.
In this role, you will need knowledge and understanding of dementia diseases. You will need to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking on their emotions. The ability to be calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions is important in this work, as is an interest and willingness to help others and a drive to deliver solutions.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience working with the Treserva documentation system and the TES planning tool, or other systems that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience using various assessment tools such as BPSD, Senior Alert, or similar.
Experience delegating health and medical care tasks.
Previous experience with ombudsman assignments and/or areas of responsibility.
Employment Terms
This is a permanent full-time position according to the full-time agreement with the possibility of working part-time. We maintain a smoke-free workplace, and working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work; there is also the possibility of working night shifts.
