We are now looking for a dedicated nursing assistant to work with us! 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Typical tasks within home care include encouraging, supporting, and motivating clients regarding personal hygiene, care, meals, and activities. We base our work on the client's needs and wishes. The goal is to make it possible for elderly people to live in their own homes with a sense of security and quality for as long as they wish. We work according to Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC). The work includes maintaining good dialogue with care recipients and their relatives, documenting according to social service guidelines via computer, and managing delegated health and medical care tasks. In our home care facility, we also handle maintenance of, for example, common areas, laundry room, and staff room. As an employee, your responsibilities include following both municipality-wide governing documents and unit procedures and given instructions for employment and daily work. This means, for example, following basic hygiene routines, using assistive devices and medical technology products, and working ergonomically. In regular housing, we work with a fixed care contact, which means that with a permanent employment contract, you have special responsibility for one or more clients. Within regular housing, new work methods and digitalization are continuously implemented to meet society's needs. You work with a mobile phone as a work tool and document in the Treserva system. With us, you work both independently and together with your colleagues. Working hours vary and can include days, evenings, and weekends. We use both cars and bicycles as transportation, which are provided by the employer. We are also responsible for emergency response calls in our area. If you work within home care, you need to be prepared for the possibility that pets may be present in our clients' homes. Home Care Services facilities are located at Helheten on Markörvägen in Strängnäs, near the Travel Center. Work at our clients' homes is in central Strängnäs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Valid professional nursing assistant certification. • Knowledge of and/or experience working with specialization in mental health, dementia, and palliative care. • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. • Good computer skills. • Driver's License Category B (as you may need to drive our emergency response vehicle). It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in elderly care. Your personal qualities are important to us!
