Your Role
As a home care assistant, you have varied and meaningful work. You help create a meaningful daily life for individuals and provide users with security in their own homes. With good conduct, high service standards, and commitment, you tailor your work to each individual user's needs so that support is customized based on the care decision.
You provide good care and social support to our users according to decisions from care coordinators. You help and support the user in daily life to promote functional ability. There may be smoking and pets in our users' homes. You travel between workplaces by cycling, walking, or driving.
You will also have contact with family members, primary healthcare, and other internal/external partners. Social documentation is central in our operations. You write journal notes and develop implementation plans in our systems Paragå and Parasol.
We continuously work together to develop our service. We have pre-shift meetings and always end the day by documenting and facilitating the next shift. We also have ongoing training, development meetings, and reflection opportunities.
Your Competence and Experience
We're looking for someone with a professional approach characterized by good conduct, respect, and dignity. The job requires flexibility, initiative, collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, stress resilience, and personal maturity.
We want you to:
• be a trained home care assistant with a protected title issued by the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate
• have experience in elder care, healthcare, and social services
• speak and write Swedish fluently
• have good computer skills
• be able to ride a bicycle, regular or electric
We consider it a merit if you:
• have previously worked in home care
• have knowledge of documentation within the Social Services Act
