JOB DUTIES
We are looking for someone who wants engaging and developmental work. As a nursing assistant in home care, you have the opportunity to contribute to quality of life for our users. Our work is based on our core values of safety, responsibility, and respectful treatment, and you are a large and important part of the user's well-being. You work carefully and professionally with users in their home environment, in collaboration with others in your work team. This also includes working for good cooperation with other professional groups and relatives.
As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for ensuring that our users, based on their individual needs, receive social support and care, accompaniment, health and medical services, and activation. The work also includes service tasks, such as preparing simple meals, dishwashing, laundry, and cleaning. The assignment also includes performing delegated and prescribed healthcare services, according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).
Documentation in our systems is also an important part of the work.
Within the Health and Care Sector, we work flexibly between different units. This means you will also work shifts in other home care areas than the one you normally work in.

QUALIFICATIONS
To work as a nursing assistant with us, you need to have completed upper secondary education from a care and welfare program or equivalent. It is a merit if you have had similar work experience, preferably with a specialization in dementia care, elderly care, or welfare technology, as well as previous experience with delegated tasks.
It may also be relevant to hire a care assistant.
As a person, you need to be responsible and service-oriented, putting the individual's needs at the center. You are good at collaborating with colleagues, users, relatives, and other partners both within and outside your own organization. We believe we build a better operation through collaboration and development together with others. You find it easy to build relationships and have a respectful approach.
A requirement for working with us is that you have a Category B driver's license for a manual transmission car. We want to contribute to a sustainable Skövde and care about the environment, which is why it is important that you can cycle, as we cycle to our users whenever possible.
In this role, it is important that you can communicate orally and in writing in Swedish, as both you and the user need to understand each other, but also to be able to carry out documentation. You have computer skills and preferably also experience with social documentation.

Upon employment, you must be able to present an extract from the police's criminal record register.
