Nursing Assistant in Public Health and Social Care - Ordinary Housing and LSS

Within ordinary housing and LSS, we work with patients who need support, care, and treatment at home. With us, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing assistants work together in multidisciplinary teams – always with the patient at the center. JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant in public health and social care, you work with both care tasks and qualified health and social care duties on delegation or assignment from licensed personnel. The work is varied and can include: • medical treatment and care interventions in the patient's home • blood sampling • blood pressure checks • wound care • nutrition treatment and feeding tube handling • catheter and stoma care • compression bandaging • medication management • rehabilitative interventions together with licensed occupational therapists and physiotherapists • documentation in digital systems • participation in care planning and team work • support and collaboration with care and social service personnel You will also be involved in development work on quality, patient safety, and new working methods within home care and welfare technology. It's an advantage if you have: • education as a specialist nursing assistant • experience in somatic care, acute care, or public health and social care.
