What does the job as a nursing assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?
As a nursing assistant at Norlandia, you are an important part of the team where, together with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we work to give our residents a good life every day.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in elderly people who wants to create security, participation, and meaning in daily life. You are responsible for providing high-quality care and support based on the resident's needs and care plan.
This includes:
Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's Din dag concept
Personal care and support and utilizing residents' own resources
Work based on Norlandia's Smaklig måltid concept so that our residents enjoy their meals and mealtime provides enrichment to everyday life
Documentation according to the Social Services Act; maintain social records and create and follow up on care plans
Plan, offer, and conduct daily activities, outdoor time, cultural activities both individual and group activities
Perform service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, accompaniment, and shopping
Receive and carry out delegated tasks such as medication delegation
Take responsibility in ombudsman roles
Actively participate in the facility's quality and improvement work
About Haga Äng Elderly Residence
Haga Äng is a modern and values-driven elderly residence in Västerås with 62 apartments. We have two clear focus areas: care for people with cognitive diseases and care for people in elderly psychiatry. The residence is located in a quiet and pleasant area, with a bus stop within short walking distance and parking facilities right next to the building, making it easy to get here whether you travel by public transport, bike, or car.

You must have proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare
You must have good knowledge of documentation
You must master the Swedish language well, both spoken and written
We would like you to have good computer skills/computer experience/mobile experience
We want you to have good knowledge of national quality registers

Employment type: permanent position
Scope: part-time 75-80%, by agreement
Start date: By agreement
Probationary period: we apply a 6-month probationary period
We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Before any employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
