About the role As a nursing assistant, you work closely with residents and provide support and care based on each person's individual needs, habits, and wishes. Together with your colleagues, you plan the work and contribute to creating safety, continuity, and a meaningful daily life. The work includes: personal care and support in daily activities observing changes in the resident's needs and well-being documentation and information transfer activities, meals, and social interaction contact person responsibilities and communication with relatives collaboration with colleagues and other professionals around the resident. The work is person-centered and requires you to be able to adapt your support to the person you meet. Your competence as a nursing assistant is important both in daily care and for observing factors that may affect the resident's health and well-being. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts, plus every other weekend according to the schedule. The weekly working hours are 37 hours and the position is 83 percent. Who are you? We believe that to thrive with us, you enjoy working with older people and are confident in your role as a nursing assistant. You are attentive and responsive to residents' needs and take responsibility for communicating what you observe and notice. You collaborate well with others and communicate clearly with colleagues, residents, and relatives. At the same time, you can work independently and make professional judgments in your daily work. Your experience To be suitable for this role, you need to: have documentation from the National Board of Health and Welfare proving your right to use the protected professional title of nursing assistant have experience working in elder care be able to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing be able to use the digital tools needed in the work.
