Since one of our colleagues is going on parental leave, we are now seeking a team member for our dialysis unit in Ljungby. You will be part of a small work group with both nursing assistants and registered nurses who work closely together during daytime shifts. This is a parental leave position with a preliminary duration of approximately one year. Start date in September or by agreement. The length of the placement may be adjusted based on the regular employee's parental leave.

WORK DUTIES
As a nursing assistant, your work will include tasks such as:
• patient care
• patient monitoring
• specimen collection
• blood pressure checks
• assisting physicians and nurses with examinations
• administrative tasks in systems such as patient record management
• collaborating with nurses and other professionals on patient care
• assisting with the start and end of dialysis treatments
• preparing for and following up after dialysis treatments
• assisting with inventory management
• meal service
• collecting microbiological samples from dialysis machines
QUALIFICATIONS
Nursing Assistant education - you have an education focused on healthcare and nursing from upper secondary school or municipal adult education =
* 1240 upper secondary credits in subjects or courses focused on healthcare and nursing, and 100 upper secondary credits in Swedish or Swedish as a second language.
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with experience in patient care work. We would prefer that you have experience working with long-term patient relationships. You have a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills are essential for you. We value that you are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-01, end date: 2027-08-31.
Work hours: Daytime. Monday-Saturday 07:00-16:00. You will be scheduled every other Saturday.
