Welcome to Brandbergen Health Center! We are seeking a trained nursing assistant with experience in primary care for a fixed-term temporary position. You should have an interest in flexible work and always prioritize the patient. You will be offered varied and responsible work and become part of a great team with strong cohesion. Description Brandbergen Health Center currently has approximately 8,000 registered patients and is a health center with integrated home care services with approximately 70 patients enrolled. Our clinic is located in Haninge municipality in the middle of Brandbergen center, with restaurants, grocery stores, etc. You can easily get here by public transport, and there is a parking garage with staff parking in the building. Work Tasks The work includes clinic reception duties, home care services, and staffing our cashier/reception. Our home care patients live in the nearby area and we reach them on foot and by bicycle. Examples of work tasks: - Administer medication - Apply compression bandages to legs - Change wound dressings - Draw blood samples - Monitor blood pressure - EKG - PNA - Assist doctors with simple procedures - Staff cashier/reception, order supplies and laundry We document all patient contacts in TakeCare. Qualifications · Nursing assistant training with certificate of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. · Good knowledge of Swedish and English. · Ability to cycle. · No serious allergies/fears of cats, dogs, or birds as there may be pets in home care settings. Meritorious: · Previous work at a health center, both at reception, cashier, and in home care. You should have an interest in all nursing assistant tasks at a health center and have good communication with both patients and team members. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment with end date 2027-05-21 Employment Scope: Full-time Start Date: By agreement The position is filled under the condition that it does not need to be used for internal reallocation, according to applicable regulations. For patient-related work within Stockholm County Health Care Area: - Register checks are conducted before employment decision according to SLSO's guidelines for register checks at employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to applicable directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional credentials, good knowledge of Swedish language is required corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
