As a nursing assistant with us, you have a permanent position in the health and care sector's staffing pool with the entire sector as your workplace. Working as an employee in the staffing pool involves great variety, both in terms of workplace and work tasks. Your role involves replacing another employee during absences, and the content of the work depends on where you are placed for the day. You will work within both the elderly care department (home care, nursing homes) and the disability services department (supported housing, personal assistance, and short-term care for children). Working in the staffing pool means being flexible regarding both working hours and workplaces, as you work across different service areas. Pool staff cover absences during day, evening, and night shifts. Working hours are scheduled with service every other weekend. "Fantastic fun job, you do good. Previous experience in similar work is meritorious. We would especially like to see education and/or experience working according to individual needs-centered approaches, IBIC. To succeed in this role, you must be flexible in your approach and enjoy the fact that no two days are alike. You find it easy to build new relationships and have a good ability to move in and out of different service areas. You are a responsible and service-oriented person who puts the individual's needs at the center. You need to be able to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish, as the work involves many contacts and documentation. As Skövde Municipality is a Swedish-Finnish administrative area, it is especially good if you can speak Finnish. We assume you have computer skills and preferably experience with social documentation. To be able to work within all the sector's activities, it is a requirement that you can cycle and have a driver's license and access to your own car. Upon employment, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented. Trial employment may be applied. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to use the title nursing assistant in health and care.
