About the Position As a nursing assistant at Axberg/Vivalla home care, you have coordinated responsibility for support, service, and care services to our customers. In your daily work, you plan, implement, and follow up on services, always from a rehabilitative approach and person-centered care perspective. Examples of Work Tasks: perform care tasks and, under delegation, certain medication management perform service tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping plan and develop work independently and together with the work group establish and follow care plans, procedures, and action plans together with the customer cooperate with family members and others in the customer's network, such as nurses and occupational therapists document regularly in the organization's documentation system and review existing documentation establish and follow up on implementation plans have knowledge of and follow the organization's applicable laws, policies, and procedures About the Workplace At Axberg/Vivalla home care, we are approximately 31 employees working from two locations: Trädgårdarna, located on the outskirts of Vivalla, and Kornellen, located in Bettorp. We provide support to customers in Lillån, Bettorp, Hovsta, Vivalla, Lundby, and Glanshammar, as well as the surrounding countryside. Our geographic area stretches from urban to rural, which provides varied work with diverse environments. In our work, we use both service vehicles and bicycles, so it is important that you feel comfortable driving a car, cycling, and using GPS as a tool. The Health and Care Department is part of the Social Administration. The operation includes health and care services, preventive activities, authority functions within the area, as well as housing placement and housing adaptation. Within the Health and Care Department, we work to support and help people who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives. Qualifications As a nursing assistant with us, you are a confident and stable person. You have the ability to meet customers professionally by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. Being responsible for your work tasks is something you take for granted. You collaborate well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each person's individual needs. You also adapt easily to changed circumstances and see opportunities in change. You master the Swedish language so that you can communicate with the customer and other staff, as well as document in writing what the organization requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in management systems, good computer skills are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: proof of protected professional title, alternatively covered by transitional rules (permanent nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023) Category B driver's license, and experience driving a car and using GPS ability to cycle Meritorious: experience working in health and care experience working with documentation and management systems Scope and Start Date Employment Type: permanent employment Employment Level: 100% Start Date: October 1 or by agreement Number of Positions: 1-2 Work Hours: scheduled days, evenings, and every other weekend Additional Information As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to be employed as a nursing assistant. While waiting for your certificate, it is possible to be employed as a care assistant. If you had a permanent nursing assistant position on July 1, 2023, you may continue to use the title.
