RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant, you will support people in their daily lives based on care decisions and implementation plans. The duties are varied, but some of the most common tasks include the following. • Assist in the home with cleaning and laundry, making beds, or shopping and preparing meals. • Personal care includes helping with showers and bathroom visits, getting dressed and doing hair, or assisting with meals. • Your role also includes enriching the daily lives of those you help through various activities. This could be extra social interaction, taking a walk, or playing games. Only your imagination sets the limits. • Medical tasks such as checking blood pressure, applying bandages, or administering medication. This requires delegation and is something you will learn on the job. Through orientation at the workplace, you will be given the conditions to perform the work that the position requires and to follow the workplace rules that exist at the workplace and within the municipality as employer. You are responsible, have a clear approach, and can work independently. You are confident in yourself and feel comfortable working with people who have significant needs for security, continuity, and structure. Employment type: Permanent position.
