The Workplace Strandbacken is a special housing facility for elderly persons located in Nordmalings municipality, approximately 1 km from the town center. Strandbacken consists of two buildings containing 9 residential units and a rehabilitation unit. Åsen is a unit with 13 bedrooms. The Role and Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will provide good care and social support to our residents according to their individual care plans. You will help and support residents in their daily lives to promote their functional abilities. With professional conduct, high service standards, and commitment, you will adapt your work to each individual's needs. You are expected to create a calm and meaningful environment and work toward the well-being and security of our residents. Delegated tasks from the municipality's healthcare unit are included, as well as continuous written documentation. We work as a team and support each other in our daily work. Together, we continuously develop and improve our operations. Your Profile The requirement to work as a nursing assistant is that you have nursing assistant training. To be able to communicate with residents at Strandbacken, their families, colleagues, document care, and receive medication delegation authority, you must have strong Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing. Meritorious qualifications include experience working with elderly and dementia care, as well as computer skills. We are looking for someone with a professional approach characterized by good conduct and an interest in helping and supporting others. The work requires flexibility, integrity, good teamwork ability, sound judgment, organizational skills, customer service orientation, and personal maturity. Employment Prior to employment as a nursing assistant in special housing and home care services, a criminal record certificate excerpt must be presented in accordance with applicable legislation. The certificate must be presented to the employer before employment begins to ensure safety and security for our elderly. Other Information Within elderly care services, we strive to have employees with knowledge of the following languages: Finnish, Yiddish, Meänkieli, Romani Chib, and Sami. We would be pleased if you have knowledge of one or more of these languages. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period!
