Together with your colleagues, you are an important piece of the puzzle in this work. The job duties involve personal care and service provisions, all based on individual implementation plans. The work also includes being a contact person, which means that you plan support and assistance together with the individual. Teamwork is a large part of the job. You will work in a team together with rehabilitation staff, nurses, and our special dementia team. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant. You have previous experience working in a residential facility with a dementia focus. Specialist education in dementia care, elderly care, or welfare technology and experience working with BPSD are meriting. You have warmth and commitment to working with this target group. You have a positive attitude and see it as your obvious responsibility to contribute to a positive work environment and promote good cooperation. We strive to create as home-like an environment as possible, characterized by calm and security. Therefore, it is important that you are confident in your professional role and have good self-awareness and personal maturity. You need to be able to meet each individual's needs by having an easy time adapting to changed circumstances, remaining calm in stressful situations, and seeing opportunities instead of obstacles. We are looking for you who has good conduct in all situations in your profession. It is also important that you are used to collaborating and also taking own initiatives. In addition to your passionate interest in dementia care, we want you to have an interest in change and development work as this is an operation in constant development. We also want you to enjoy challenges and think outside the box. You are self-driven and can take own initiatives and are good at collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other partners, both within and outside your own organization. We want you to be able to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish as the work includes many contact points and documentation. We assume that you have computer experience and preferably experience with social documentation in the Lifecare management system. To be able to be employed in the role of nursing assistant, you need to attach proof of protected professional title or a certificate from your current employer verifying that you had a permanent employment as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start: By agreement. To be eligible for employment in Valdemarsvik municipality, a certificate from the police criminal record must be presented. You will need to show your certificate if you are offered the position. Depending on the current workplace's needs, part of your work time may be placed at another workplace within the operational area.
