Then you might be the right person for us. Kvarnbergets Elderly Care Center is seeking a trained nursing assistant for permanent weekend shifts in specialized housing with a focus on dementia care. The position is a permanent employment within the Care Administration with a fixed-term contract for permanent weekend service. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant in elderly care in specialized housing, you will provide care and service interventions in accordance with the Social Services Act based on a professional approach. The services must be of high quality for the individual based on their individual needs. You work with good reception and strong empathetic ability. You enjoy working both independently and in a team. The work includes performing delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act, documenting in patient records and creating care plans in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines, as well as working as a contact person. Qualifications You are a trained nursing assistant with a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. As a person, you are social, empathetic, and curious about people. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability and previous references. You have good computer skills and very good knowledge of Swedish language, both written and spoken. We require a criminal record extract before employment. Terms Permanent weekend service is the employment form for you who want to work every weekend and involves working on a full-time basis of 28 hours/week. Work shifts are scheduled for daytime and evening. You work either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. Other time is scheduled on other weekdays for e.g. training and professional development. The employment is a permanent position within the Care Administration but with a fixed-term contract for weekend service. You have the right to transition to a regular schedule with standard full-time hours of 37 hours/week after three months from when you notify your wish to the unit manager. The position includes placement at a specific workplace but you will also perform resource shifts at other workplaces as needed. The employment includes daytime and evening shifts. To use the title of nursing assistant in your employment contract, you must have a professional title issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare.
