About the Department Department 31 provides highly specialized reconstructive plastic surgery. Reconstructive plastic surgery aims to recreate tissue and/or function following cancer, trauma, burns, and congenital deformities, as well as for gender-affirming purposes. Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty technique that is not limited to any specific organ or tissue. Indications are often of a psychosocial nature, with the goal of restoring the patient to as normal an appearance or functionality as possible given the circumstances. Your Responsibilities As a nursing assistant with us, you will have varied, exciting, and responsible work where you will work with patients undergoing reconstructive plastic surgery. Almost all of our surgery is planned, and you will help nurses receive patients preoperatively, prepare them for surgery, and then care for patients postoperatively. Your major responsibility as a nursing assistant is the daily care of our patients, but because our patients have undergone surgery, they often have large wound areas that need dressing changes, and great emphasis is placed on how the wounds are cared for. About You You are a nursing assistant with an interest in surgery. Experience in surgery and wound care is a merit. We would like you to have a collaborative as well as independent work approach. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. We warmly welcome your application!
