We're looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main responsibilities are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You support residents in their daily lives and create conditions for a safe and meaningful routine. As a nursing assistant, you're responsible for providing residents with good quality care in accordance with what has been agreed upon in the care plan. This includes, among other things: Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's "Your Day" concept. Personal care and support while utilizing residents' own resources. Work based on Norlandia's "Tasty Meal" concept so that our residents appreciate the food and meals add a special touch to everyday life. Documentation according to the Social Services Act; maintain social records and create and follow up care plans. Plan, offer, and carry out daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities. Perform service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, accompaniment, and shopping. Receive and carry out delegated tasks such as medication delegation. Take responsibility in ombudsman roles. Actively participate in the facility's quality and improvement work. About KVARNÅSEN Elderly Housing Located in Årjäng Municipality in Värmland County near the Norwegian border. Kvarnåsen is centrally located in the community close to the bus stop, and we're only 12 miles from Oslo. Årjäng offers rich nature with several lakes and beautiful nature reserves with hiking trails. Kvarnåsen has 92 apartments distributed across nine units. We offer dementia housing, psychogeriatric housing, and somatic housing. Each unit has a kitchen, dining room/living room, and outdoor space. Pelarsalen is a meeting place where our activity coordinators arrange activities based on requests. Here we celebrate birthdays, traditions, and organize various celebrations—all so the elderly can experience a Good Life—every day.
