Psychosis Care Stockholm is a newly established service within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area. Here we consolidate care for patients 18 years and older with psychotic illness within one organizational unit. We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psychosis Care Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research on psychotic illness. We work in multiprofessional teams to provide the best possible care and treatment around the patient. We are now seeking a nursing assistant for one of our psychosis wards, Department 3, Psychosis Care Stockholm. Description Do you have a genuine commitment and interest in patients with psychotic illness? Do you have good collaboration skills and want to drive development work in psychiatry together with a dedicated manager and MLA? Come work with us! We are passionate about person-centered patient care where evidence and staff competence are in focus. We are centrally located at St. Göran's Hospital. The department has 14 care beds for patients 18 years and older, of which one bed is reserved for voluntary admission. Patient participation, good cooperation with relatives and care colleagues, high availability, and a well-functioning care chain are several key foundations on which the operation rests. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for psychiatric nursing care and somatic nursing care together with your colleagues. You support your colleagues in daily work and participate in planning and perform, among other things, basic nursing care, support conversations, and documentation in the Take Care patient record system. Qualifications A recognized nursing assistant education with protected professional title is a requirement. You are driven, flexible, and creative. You should be able to collaborate easily and have the ability to work both independently and in groups. Longer experience with this patient group is a merit, as is psychiatric education and/or training as a rescue instructor. You should be calm, confident, and flexible. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Terms and Conditions Permanent employment day/evening/weekend. Rotating 5-week schedule, with 2 weekends out of 5. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area: - a register check is applied before employment decision according to SLSO's overarching instruction for register checks at employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to applicable directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
