In April 2021, we moved into our new psychiatric hospital, where we are now expanding our expertise and bringing more specialties under one roof. Inpatient care consists of three different care units; 30A - acute psychiatric care and intensive care (PIVA), 30B - addiction center, and 40C - general psychiatric care. We also have a 24-hour emergency reception, ECT reception, Esketamine reception, LARO reception (medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependence), and a regional unit for eating disorders that provides day care/outpatient care. Inpatient care has the mission to offer qualified diagnostics, treatment, and specialized psychiatric care in 24-hour care. The mission also includes collaboration with neighboring care providers such as outpatient care, municipalities, addiction services, and primary care. In the unit, nurses, caregivers, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and doctors work in teams together with patients. We actively work to reduce coercion in care and to prevent threats and violence. We are looking for We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant/caregiver with good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We would like to see that you have completed 200 credits in psychiatry (psychiatry 2/psychiatry B). It is an asset if you have experience as a caregiver in psychiatric care. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. What you will be working with Psychiatric care is in focus and we work with contact person relationships that should strengthen the relationship with the patient and promote person-centered care. As a nursing assistant/caregiver, you are responsible for, among other things, observations, parameter monitoring, specimen collection, ADL assistance, and other support through conversations and family contact. You will have an important role in participating in planning together with the patient and your care team. Documentation is a natural part of the work, as well as being involved in developing care work in the unit. The role also includes mentoring care assistant students.
