About the Department The department has 20 care beds distributed across three care teams. We care for patients with acute injuries to the musculoskeletal system, such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and trauma patients. We also perform planned prosthetic surgery on hips, knees, and shoulders. The department is also characterized by frequently caring for patients from other regions and countries due to the large influx of tourists in winter and summer in the catchment area. Duties Would you like to join our team on orthopedics department 41 at Mora Hospital? We are now recruiting a new nursing assistant! On department 41, you'll be part of the team around the patient—all professions are important and the patient should always be in focus. Daily work consists of many different tasks such as wound dressing changes, pre- and post-operative care, mobilization, and general patient care. Working as a nursing assistant with us means independent, stimulating, and varied work. We have an open and positive work environment with pleasant colleagues. The position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekends. Qualifications Requirements: - You are trained as a nursing assistant and have completed the Care and Service program or vocational package Care and Service in adult education - You have specialized training in Acute Care and Medicine 2 (if you completed the earlier Care and Service program) We place great emphasis on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and flexibility.
