Would you like to work nights and be the one who creates security when it's quietest? We are now hiring a nursing assistant for the night patrol.
When many are sleeping, you and your colleagues are at work. During the night, you ensure that our service users in care and health services receive the support, care, and nursing they need to feel secure in their daily lives.
Within elderly care in Vetlanda Municipality, we work for Esther's best – always with a focus on the service user and how we can strengthen their security and independence.
As a nursing assistant on the night patrol, you work in service users' own homes. You meet people with different needs and no two nights are the same. Therefore, the work requires that you can adapt to the situation, prioritize correctly, and make well-founded decisions when conditions change. At the same time, you are an important part of a team where you work closely together to create continuity, security, and good care.
In this role, you work with care and nursing based on each service user's needs and circumstances. This can involve support with daily tasks as well as nursing interventions that require both attentiveness and a professional approach. Respect for self-determination, integrity, and participation permeates the work, and you contribute to ensuring that each person receives the support they need in a dignified and secure manner.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working nights and feels comfortable meeting people. You take responsibility for your work tasks, can work independently when the situation requires it, and at the same time collaborate well with your colleagues. Night work is built on supporting each other and together creating the best conditions for service users.
The position is time-limited until July 1, 2027. The position is 80 percent. The placement is currently nights in home care services, but another work group may become relevant if operational needs change.
