Bygdevägen 15 is a special residential facility with 60 apartments distributed across 7 units. There are specialized units for people with dementia. The facility is located on Vikbolandet in Östra Husby. We are now seeking a nursing assistant for the night shift who wants to contribute to a safe and dignified life for the residents. Your responsibilities As a nursing assistant with us, you will be part of a pleasant and highly experienced team that helps and supports each other in daily work. The role involves supporting residents with personal care and creating security and continuity during the night. As night staff, you need to be responsible, confident in your professional role, and able to work independently. You need to be able to make your own assessments, prioritize tasks, be flexible, and act based on residents' needs and the situations that arise. Your responsibilities also include documentation, medication management, and maintenance of apartments and common areas. You will work closely with your nursing assistant colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Together, you ensure that those living with us are doing well and receive the help and support they want and need. The goal is always for the user to have the opportunity to continue living an active life with a meaningful daily life. Who are you? We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and who have experience working in care and support and providing care work. We would like you to have documented training in dementia care and good knowledge of dementia diseases. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with night work, but it is not a requirement. We see that you have a genuine interest in people and are confident in yourself. Since the work involves significant responsibility at night, it is important that you can work independently, make your own assessments, and prioritize based on residents' needs. At the same time, you need to have good collaboration skills to work together with your colleagues when the situation requires it. Therefore, we are looking for you who have a good ability to take responsibility, plan, and make clear and rational decisions. You are good at meeting different types of people and ensuring that each individual's personal characteristics, needs, and integrity are respected. You find it easy to be flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances and can quickly adjust your approach and working methods. You contribute a positive attitude at work to create good cooperation and a good work environment together. It is also positive if you have experience working in service professions. Furthermore, you have the ability to meet people in different situations and are empathetic by being able to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking over their feelings. You also have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as the work involves close contact with both residents, colleagues, and other professionals, as well as documentation requirements.
