We are now looking for a nursing assistant for a night shift position at 85% at Smedbyhof in Upplands Väsby. In your role as a nursing assistant, you and your colleagues plan the day based on the residents' individual needs and wishes. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful daily life for the residents is an important part of the work. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant with a protected professional title and who have experience working nights in elderly care. We place great emphasis on demeanor, communication, and personal relationship-building, so it is very important that you have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written. All our documentation is done in the Safe Doc journal system; in the fall we are transitioning to Welfare and documenting according to IBIC, so good computer skills/computer experience is necessary. We are looking for you who have experience with night work, who are confident in your role, and skilled in patient care. You remain calm in stressful situations and can prioritize. You are accustomed to adapting your demeanor to those you care for, you are always respectful, and you understand that the elderly have self-determination and need to be involved in decisions. Furthermore, you understand the importance of following our routines and guidelines and place great emphasis on doing quality work. You have a genuine interest in making a difference and doing the ordinary in an extraordinary way.
