At Skämningsfors, we are now looking for a responsible and driven Nursing Assistant for our night shift who shares our vision: "Everyone has the right to a good life." Here we offer accommodation for adults with mental health disabilities, with or without somatic care needs. Our unit, located in Brandstorp about 2.3 miles north of Habo, has three departments. Our clients are 20 years old and older, and we work to provide them with support and assistance that truly makes a difference. Our team consists of a nurse, occupational therapist, and nursing assistants. About the Position A night shift with us involves nursing care, supervision, and security measures for our clients during the night as well as documentation. Examples of work tasks: Ensure clients are doing well and sleeping safely through regular check-ins. Handle acute psychiatric or somatic situations and provide calming conversational support for anxiety or sleep difficulties. Manage medications according to delegation. Document the night's events and report to day staff. Perform certain cleaning and laundry tasks. Employment Terms We are now seeking an employee for a permanent position; we apply a six-month probationary period. The employment level is 100%. Working hours are night shifts. Salary is by agreement and other compensation is according to collective agreement. Start date for the position is by agreement. A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, responsive, and flexible. You are a person who has the ability to handle stressful situations with confidence and stability. You are responsible and can independently structure your work. You have pedagogical insight into people's different circumstances and can adapt your communication style to their needs. We are looking for someone who: Is a trained nursing assistant with experience in psychiatry.
