Nursing Assistant for Dementia Unit Do you want to make a difference for people with dementia – every day? We are now seeking a nursing assistant who wants to become part of our team on our dementia unit. You will be based at one of our facilities: Tallmogården, Klockargården, or Gunnarsbygården. However, you will work at all three. With us, person-centered care is at the core, where we work to create safety, meaning, and good quality of life for our residents. We work in a structured manner based on the BPSD registry and use our knowledge to understand each person's needs, behaviors, and circumstances. Together, we work to find individual solutions that create safety and reduce anxiety and behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you You are a trained nursing assistant with a genuine interest in working with people who have dementia. You are confident in your professional role, attentive, and able to adapt your approach to each individual's needs. We believe you are a person who sees the person behind the dementia and who has patience, commitment, and the ability to create safety even in challenging situations. You enjoy collaborating, take responsibility, and contribute to a positive work environment. You are also curious to learn more and want to help develop the operations together with your colleagues. Experience in dementia care and knowledge of BPSD are merits, but what is most important to us is that you have the right attitude and genuine commitment to our client group. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements • Trained nursing assistant with a certified nursing assistant education. • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. • Ability to work person-centered and based on the individual's needs and circumstances. • Ability to collaborate and contribute to a good work environment. • A professional and respectful approach to people with dementia. Merits • Knowledge and experience of the BPSD registry and BPSD work. • Experience in person-centered care and support. • Education or advanced knowledge in the dementia field. • Experience working with care plans and preventive approaches. • Experience in working in residential care or elderly care. • Experience in dementia care.
