Laboratory Assistant, Laboratory Medicine Arvika Area

We are seeking a laboratory assistant for Laboratory Medicine in the Arvika area! Your Workplace Laboratory Medicine Arvika and Säffle area has over 30 employees. Within clinical chemistry, analytical work, blood sampling, and functional examinations are performed at Arvika Hospital and at primary care laboratories in Eda, Säffle, Verkstaden, and Årjäng. Within transfusion medicine, blood collection and serological examinations are conducted. Your Responsibilities We offer you a responsible, developmental, and exciting position within clinical chemistry. The position is based at Arvika Hospital and primary care in Arvika and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will primarily consist of blood sampling, functional examinations, operation of point-of-care analytical instruments, and assessment of test results. Working hours are during daytime. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone who is a certified laboratory assistant with experience in blood sampling. You need to have strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. The work requires you to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances. We also see that you enjoy collaboration, as it is a major part of the work, and that you have good patient and colleague interaction skills and strong communication abilities. We also value that you are thorough and well aware of goals and quality standards. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. A driver's license is desirable as work-related travel may occur, but it is not a requirement.
