Nursing Assistant Evening Shift 84% Home Care - Dementia Focus

Please Note: You must be a certified nursing assistant and able to provide credentials and a protected professional title for this position. We are looking for a nursing assistant with knowledge and interest in working with people who have memory disorders (dementia). Start Date: Immediate Work Hours: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Schedule: 84.12% (approximately 19 shifts over four weeks on weekdays and weekends). The organization has chosen not to offer a 100% position as this would result in too many work shifts per month for the employee, which contributes to a better work environment. Please note that we do not permit you to work at multiple workplaces during your employment with us. Education Requirements: Certified nursing assistant with a valid Swedish diploma worth 1500 points Salary: Based on the organization's collective agreement A 6-month probationary period applies from the date of employment according to the collective agreement To work in this organization, it is advantageous if you: - Have knowledge, experience, and interest in working with people who have various types of dementia or mental health issues - Have worked for an extended period in home care or elderly residential facilities - Have excellent Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, as you will visit customers who may have difficulty understanding and speaking, and you must be able to document in patient records and read instructions - Are social, persistent, patient, stress-resilient, proactive, and creative in your work approach - Can manage stress and are able to plan and structure your work - Have good local knowledge of inner Stockholm as you will travel via public transportation or on foot Please note that we place great emphasis on personal suitability, such as knowledge, interest, initiative, communication/interpersonal skills, and personality traits. Job Responsibilities You will follow a service schedule and visit customers in their own homes, performing the services they have been approved for according to care decisions. The decision includes tasks such as personal hygiene and intimate care, dressing and undressing, meal preparation, housekeeping, and social interaction. We focus heavily on motivation to enable us to provide the services and use various working methods as tools. Who We Are Stockholm Dementia and Specialist Team is a home care company that provides services in clients' own homes. The organization also provides companion services, respite care services, and residential support. The organization primarily serves clients with various degrees of dementia, mental health issues, functional disabilities, and substance abuse problems. Evening shifts primarily serve clients with dementia according to care decisions. We use the Paragå time reporting system where employees log in and out of each client visit using a mobile phone and NFC tags, and document directly on-site in the client's record. Paragå monitors logins via GPS. Where We Are Located and How You Get to Clients We have clients in 8 different city districts and you begin and end each work shift from Södermalm where we have our office, regardless of which district you are in during the day. You travel to clients via public transportation or on foot (the organization has no vehicles). An SL card is required for this position.
