Nursing Assistant, Surgical Ward 4, Lindesberg Hospital

We are seeking a positive, driven, and committed nursing assistant with an interest in surgical care who wants stimulating and varied work. Surgical Ward 4 is a care unit that treats a broad range of patient categories with a focus on general surgery and bariatric surgery patients. The ward has approximately 35 staff members who have together developed our operations into an attractive workplace that offers high-quality care and contributes to a good work environment. Duties As a nursing assistant, your main responsibility is to provide good patient care to patients with various surgical diagnoses. Depending on your competence and interests, you will also be offered individual assignments. Contact with family members and close ones is an important part of the work. We work in well-functioning teams where collaboration between different professional categories works very well. We enjoy working together and achieve good results in staff surveys and patient/family surveys. The staff on Ward 4 have actively worked to develop a pleasant and stimulating work environment where patients are offered the best possible care. Qualifications We welcome you if you are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on acute care according to the previous program structure, or trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess your suitability for employment, grades from your care education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of your protected professional title must be attached to your application. You must have good collaboration skills and great commitment. We highly value personal suitability. Experience in surgical care is a merit but not a requirement.
