About the Operation Mora Hospital is one of Region Dalarna's two acute hospitals and offers the proximity and community of a smaller hospital combined with a broad acute care mission. The hospital provides specialist and acute care for approximately 80,000 residents and also receives many patients during the year's tourist and event seasons. The Operation, Anesthesia, and ICU Clinic consists of an intensive care unit (ICU), central operating theater, day surgery, and sterile technology. Advanced care is provided around the clock here with approximately 1,500 intensive care patients and 4,500-5,000 operations each year, primarily within surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology. The clinic is also responsible for sterile technical services to the hospital and health centers in Region Dalarna and participates in, among other things, emergency response teams, sedations, and patient transfers. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant in the intensive care unit (ICU), you work in a highly specialized and technically advanced care environment where the patient's needs are always at the center. You work in close partnership with a registered nurse and together you are responsible for care, monitoring, and treatment of critically ill patients. The work is varied and places high demands on accuracy, responsibility, and professional conduct. You become an important part of a multidisciplinary team where collaboration and communication are crucial for providing safe, secure, and person-centered care. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: is a trained nursing assistant and has completed the Care and Support Program or the vocational package Care and Support within adult education has several years of experience working as a nursing assistant within healthcare or inpatient care It is advantageous if you: have program specialization in Acute Care and Medicine 2 have experience in intensive care are a specialist nursing assistant within anesthesia, operating room, and intensive care Great importance is placed on personal qualities and references. You need to have good collaborative skills and be flexible in your work approach, as the workload may vary during work shifts.
