Nursing Assistant - Home Care

About the position As a nursing assistant with us, you'll have a varied workday where you contribute to a safe home, a dignified life, and caring support for our clients. You'll meet elderly people living at home who need support—many of them have multiple conditions and extensive care needs. In this role, you'll be the primary care contact for clients and are responsible for documentation according to current guidelines. Your typical work tasks will include: Assist with personal care, support, and services in the client's home Plan and help with cooking, shopping, laundry, and other household tasks Follow care plans and document services according to current social guidelines Coordinate with colleagues, nurses at the health center, guardians, and the client's family A trial employment may be possible. Since the client's needs determine the schedule, work hours may be arranged during daytime, evenings, and weekends. About you To succeed in this role, we see that you have: High school diploma from a care and nursing program and a protected professional title as a nursing assistant from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Basic computer skills and can use email, Word, and work in care management systems. Driver's license (category B) and/or can cycle. Experience working in elderly care. As a person, you find joy in supporting people in their daily lives and enjoy working closely with them. About the recruitment process Before possible employment, you must provide an extract from the police criminal record and suspicion register as well as valid photo identification. You are responsible for ordering the extract through the Police website. The extract you need to provide is called "Work in the home with elderly and people with disabilities." If you are called for an interview, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by presenting EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit.
