One of our nursing assistants is leaving, and we're looking for a new team member. We're seeking a nursing assistant who wants stimulating work that requires commitment and personal responsibility. We're looking for someone who wants to learn new things and develop professionally. The Gynecology Clinic in Mora is part of Women's Healthcare in Dalarna. We have approximately 5,000 visits per year. The clinic provides diagnosis and treatment of gynecological and obstetric conditions. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you'll be offered varied tasks with rotating responsibilities. You'll assist physicians during gynecological examinations and outpatient surgical procedures, where you play a central role as an important part of the team. Reception work, specimen collection, inventory management, and restocking supplies are other tasks included. You'll also be trained as a fire safety officer for the clinic. Work is scheduled during regular weekday business hours with no weekend shifts, which allows you to plan your free time. Qualifications Requirements: Nursing assistant certification and completion of the Care and Health Program or the Care and Health vocational package through adult education Meritorious: Specialization in Acute Care and Medicine 2 (if you completed the earlier Care and Health Program) Several years of professional experience Personal Qualities: We're looking for someone with an interest in gynecology and obstetrics. You need to be flexible, responsible, and confident in your role as a nursing assistant with good patient and colleague relations. You're a thorough person curious about new tasks. Some interest in technology is a plus. We welcome your application! Application Information Professional Title Information As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means you need certification from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and social services. You can apply for certification as of July 1, 2023. If you don't have certification, you can continue working in healthcare and social services under a different title. For those offered employment at Region Dalarna after July 1, the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until you can provide your certification. If you had a permanent position with the nursing assistant title when the new rules took effect on July 1, 2023, you can continue using the nursing assistant title for 10 years. You can keep the title even if you change workplaces/employers after July 1. After that, you'll need certification of protected professional title to use the nursing assistant title.
