We look forward to your application! About the Workplace Furillen in Rydebäck is a facility with 72 apartments on four floors, one of which is specifically designed for people with cognitive illness. Welfare technology solutions, such as smart toilets and touchless faucets, are used at the facility. Our operations consist of two unit managers, approximately 70 nursing assistants, three nurses, as well as an administrator, planner, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. Furillen Care Home is located close to bus stops and the train station in Rydebäck, which provides excellent commuting opportunities. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will provide individual care and service to residents in a way that makes each individual feel unique and included. Your duties include performing health and medical care tasks according to instructions and delegation, and you take an active role in ensuring residents receive good quality of life based on their individual circumstances. You will meet people with various illnesses and functional impairments, and the work involves creating security for both residents and their families. During your shift, you perform planned interventions and other tasks according to the night staff schedule, and you handle safety, movement, and emergency alarms throughout your entire shift. Other responsibilities include documentation according to applicable legislation as well as contact person duties. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and holds a credential certificate for the protected occupational title from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), or can verify that you held a permanent position as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023. You have experience working as a nursing assistant and are familiar with the legal framework that forms the basis of this work. You also need good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as well as basic computer skills. It is advantageous if you have experience working in elderly care, are familiar with the BPSD registry, and have good knowledge and experience working with cognitive illness.
