Do you want to be part of shaping the future of care and services in Umeå Municipality?
The Digital Care and Services Unit is responsible for installing and implementing digital solutions in homes and for supporting elderly individuals in using welfare technology and digital services. We conduct development work, implement pilot projects, and coordinate processes related to digital initiatives within elderly care.
We are now seeking a nursing assistant who wants to take on a key role in an innovative and interdisciplinary operation where care, technology, and collaboration come together to create increased security, participation, and independence for the elderly.
The Digital Care and Services Unit currently consists of IT technicians and coordinators, among others. As a nursing assistant, you will work closely with these professional groups and together with other colleagues contribute to further developing the operations. The role involves developing, coordinating, and implementing digital initiatives for elderly care as well as contributing your care expertise in the implementation of new working methods and welfare technology solutions.
Your responsibilities
As a nursing assistant with us, you will:
Conduct digital visits via video, chat, and other digital solutions.
Provide support and reminders to users through digital tools.
Introduce and guide users in the use of welfare technology in their homes.
Provide advice on smart home solutions and technical adaptations.
Troubleshoot simple technical issues.
Handle documentation, administration, and follow-up in digital systems.
Respond to incoming messages via digital channels.
Plan, coordinate, and prioritize digital initiatives based on user needs and ensure that the right measures are implemented at the right time.
Coordinate contacts and administrative tasks in collaboration with other professionals to create an efficient and cohesive care and services process.
Work hours include day shifts, evenings, and weekends.
About you
We are looking for someone with good social skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues, users, and partners. You are communicative and have strong abilities to express yourself and provide support through various communication channels, such as phone, chat, and video calls. You enjoy working independently and take great responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and coordinating your tasks in a structured and efficient manner. At the same time, you have strong initiative, are solution-oriented, and see opportunities for improvement and development in the organization.
Since the unit conducts development work and continuously works to implement new solutions and working methods, it is particularly important that you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances. You have a good understanding that development is an ongoing process that requires commitment, collaboration skills, and an open approach. We therefore value that you are curious, humble, and want to actively contribute to the unit's continued development. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
