Nursing Assistant Daytime 100% HOME CARE with Dementia and Psychiatric Focus

Please note: You must be a fully trained nursing assistant and able to provide credentials and protected professional title for this position. We are looking for a nursing assistant with knowledge and interest in working with people who have memory disorders (dementia) and/or mental health issues, as we only serve such clients in our home care services. You can work in both home care and as a residential support worker if you wish. HOME CARE Start date: Immediate Work hours: 07:30-16:30 Schedule: Four-week rotating schedule (meaning you work a schedule set over four consecutive weeks, alternating weekly, with every other week including weekend work). 100% - 37/37 hours Education requirements: Fully trained nursing assistant with a valid Swedish degree worth 1500 points Salary: Based on the organization's collective agreement (Almega vårdföretagarna) Probationary employment applies for 6 months from hire date according to collective agreement It is meritable for working in the organization if you: -have knowledge, experience, and interest in working with people who have various forms of dementia or mental health conditions -have worked for an extended period in home care or elderly care facilities -have very good Swedish, both spoken and written, as you visit clients who may have difficulty understanding and speaking, and you must be able to document in records and read instructions -are social, persistent, patient, stress-resilient, proactive, and creative in your work approach -can manage stress and plan and structure your work -have good local knowledge of central Stockholm as you navigate using public transportation or walking Please note that we place great emphasis on personal suitability such as knowledge, interest, initiative, communication/conduct, and personality traits. Job Responsibilities You follow a service schedule and visit clients in their own homes, providing services that clients have been authorized for according to support decisions. The decision includes, among other things: personal hygiene and intimate care, showering, meal preparation, social interaction, cleaning, laundry, shopping, accompanying clients to various facilities, and walks. We focus on motivating clients so we can carry out the services, and we use various work methods as tools. We have group leaders and administrative staff who staff the office during daytime hours, whom you can turn to in your daily work. Who are we Stockholm Dementia and Specialist Team is a home care company that provides services in clients' own homes. The organization also provides escort services, respite care services, and residential support. The organization primarily serves clients with varying degrees of dementia, mental health conditions, functional disabilities, and substance abuse issues. Depending on your experience, competence, and interests, you can work with a specific focus on one of these conditions and diagnoses or a mix of them. We use the time reporting system Paragå, where staff log in and out from each client visit using a mobile phone and NFC tags, and document directly in the client's record on-site. Paragå monitors logins via GPS. Where we are located and how you travel to clients We have clients in 8 different districts, and you start and end each work shift from Södermalm where we have our office, regardless of which district you are in during the day. You travel to clients using public transportation or walking (the organization has no vehicles). An SL card is required for this position.
