Elderly care in Umeå municipality aims, through proximity and collaboration, to be a resource that enables and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life. Bruksbacken is a municipal care and residential home located in a scenic area by Sävarån, just a few minutes' walk from Sävar center with shops and pharmacy. The surroundings offer pleasant environments with walking paths and seating areas for outdoor activities. Bruksbacken consists of five buildings in two stories, distributed across 5 units and housing a total of 52 apartments. We are now looking forward to welcoming two nursing assistants, where one position is assigned to night shifts and the other to day, evening, and weekend shifts! Your tasks With a professional approach and good conduct, you assist our residents in their daily lives. The residents' participation is in focus, and you contribute to ensuring that services are performed with good quality, according to support decisions and implementation plans. You will assist with personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. Your tasks also include documenting actions and health status, as well as medical tasks based on delegation from the responsible nurse. About you We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with experience in care work. In order for you to communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Due to limited public transportation to the workplace, we would prefer that you have a category B driver's license and access to your own car, or alternatively that you live in Sävar. However, this is not a requirement if you can get to the workplace in another way. Your interaction with residents requires strong professional competence based on maturity, responsibility, and a well-developed empathetic ability. You show strong commitment to both users and the operation, which is evident in your relationships and actions. You work independently and demonstrate patience and initiative in different situations. You also have a very good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. We place great importance on personal suitability.
