Are you the nursing assistant who can handle everything from finding lost glasses (which often sit on the nose) to creating safety, joy, and structure in the lives of people living with dementia? Then you might be the star we're looking for! We are now seeking a dedicated and confident night shift staff member for our dementia residence. With us, you will have the opportunity to work close to people and contribute to a safe, secure, and meaningful daily life – even during the night hours. People with various forms of dementia live with us, and every day and night we work to give them a meaningful, safe, and dignified existence. We work person-centered, we meet people where they are – and we do it together as a strong team. We believe in calm, clarity, patience, and plenty of warmth. And yes, humor helps a lot too – it's not uncommon for both staff and residents to laugh at things only we understand. As night staff, you are responsible for: Providing care, support, and nursing to residents with dementia. Creating safety and calm during the night. Performing supervision, personal care, and medical interventions according to delegation. Documenting and reporting according to the facility's procedures. Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to good care and services. We are looking for you who: Are trained as a nursing assistant or have other relevant education/experience in healthcare and care services. Have experience working with elderly people or people with dementia (meritorious). Are responsible, empathetic, and have a professional approach. Can work independently and make well-founded decisions during the night. Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
