A vacant position as a nursing assistant is now available at Björkängens Elderly Care, the dementia unit Ekebacken. Björkängens Elderly Care is located in the city center close to train and bus connections.
Job Responsibilities
Working in elderly care means providing individually adapted care, service, and performing delegated health and medical care services to users. The work also involves managing safety alarms, which means no two days are the same. You may need to quickly adjust and prioritize – and that is exactly what makes the work so dynamic and meaningful.
You are part of close collaboration with colleagues, family members, and other healthcare professionals – always with the individual's needs in focus. You document services and follow up implementation plans according to current procedures to ensure quality, continuity, and individual adaptation.
Who Are You
We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their work with the user's best interests in focus and who is committed to completing the work you have started. You have an interest in the person, which means you focus on the person behind the illness, their feelings, and unique life story. Create security, have patience, and the ability to not correct or argue.
You work independently and have the ability to make your own decisions when the work requires it. The position requires high demands on flexibility, ability to plan and structure work, and good collaboration skills with your colleagues and other professionals you meet in your work.
Requirements
In order to be employed in the role of nursing assistant, you must attach to your application proof of protected professional title or a certificate from your current employer demonstrating that on July 1, 2023 you have/had a permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good reading comprehension.
Basic digital competence.
Merits:
Care and Service College Diploma.
Experience from similar work and/or education in dementia.
Experience with documentation.
Experience working with dementia.
Other Information
We are looking for a nursing assistant at Björkängens Elderly Care, the dementia unit. The position is a permanent employment with a desired employment level of 75-100%.
Selection, interviews, and reference checks take place continuously during the recruitment period.
Salary Range
We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. As a Nursing Assistant in home care, you can expect a salary between 27,800 - 34,000 kr depending on experience and competence; individual salary setting is applied.
