We have 2 nursing care departments and 5 dementia departments and are now looking for nursing assistants for the nursing care departments. We collaborate between departments to create a pleasant environment for both service users and staff through enjoyable activities and a culture of helpfulness. 4 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant in Mörbylånga Municipality, you work toward our overarching goal of providing one of Sweden's best person-centered elderly care services. We apply developmental leadership and are committed to supporting and creating conditions for our employees to perform good work and feel that they develop in their role as a nursing assistant and employee. In your role as a nursing assistant, you establish individual implementation plans and maintain social documentation. If you are employed in a department, you have responsibility as a fixed care contact and work together with your colleagues with shared responsibility for nursing care work. The work includes being able to perform delegated health and medical care tasks, certain service tasks such as laundry and cleaning, and participating in activities with the residents, both individually and in groups. The positions involve daytime and evening work as well as weekends according to schedule. We are looking for a position in a department; resource shifts are included in the department position. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with experience in care and support as well as familiarity with administrative tasks, such as documentation. You are confident in yourself and have a desire to develop together with the organization. You collaborate well with others, are engaged in your work, and meet users with genuine curiosity, respect, and attentiveness to their individual needs and life situation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who wants to work on a trust-based and person-centered basis. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. Anyone who had a permanent position as a nursing assistant when the new regulations came into effect may continue to use the title until June 30, 2033 without proof. To be employed as a Nursing Assistant, you must either be able to demonstrate that you held a permanent position as a Nursing Assistant on July 1, 2023 or have proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of a protected professional title. To be considered for employment in social care in Mörbylånga Municipality, the employer will ask the applicant to provide an extract from the police criminal record register for HVB homes.
