The Nursing Assistant Role As a nursing assistant, you work together with the nurse to ensure patients receive excellent care during their stay with us. Care is provided based on each patient's individual needs, and it is important that dialogue and interaction with the patient always takes place in a professional and respectful manner, with patient safety as our highest priority. The role includes basic patient care both on the ward and in the cardiac intensive care unit, and encompasses NEWS checks, specimen collection, participation in care rounds, and documentation. Your Future Workplace Medicine E is the largest unit of the medicine clinic, with a ward, cardiac intensive care unit, and a coronary care unit. Adjacent to these are our pacemaker unit, cardiac outpatient clinic, and acute care clinic. We work with investigating and treating various heart diseases such as heart attacks, heart failure, and arrhythmias. We also care for patients before and after various types of heart surgery. The ward has 16 beds distributed across two care teams. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with several years of experience in the profession. We would appreciate it if you have a strong interest in cardiac care and previous experience working on a ward, and enjoy developing and learning new skills. As a person, you are confident in your professional role and are flexible. You take responsibility for your tasks, take initiative, and adapt easily to changing circumstances.
