About the Role As an intelligence analyst, you work with gathering, processing, analyzing, and sharing information that supports both operational and tactical activities. You conduct actor and network analyses, identify new methods and phenomena, and contribute to the Swedish Tax Agency's internal and external analysis. The role involves extensive collaboration with internal and external partners, both nationally and internationally. The role may also include responsibility for project management. The work is qualified and requires a very high level of security and confidentiality awareness. You will alternate between routine and more advanced tasks and are expected to actively contribute to a developmental work environment and good collaboration. In this position, you will continuously develop both broad and specialized expertise. As the external environment changes rapidly, you need to thrive in an organization that is constantly evolving. During the introduction, you will receive foundational training divided into several blocks that alternate with practical elements. You have flexible working hours, and maintaining balance between work and leisure is a given for us. You will be part of the Crime Prevention Department and the position is located in Malmö. About You To perform well and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this work, good judgment and understanding of legal certainty and security are important. You should also comply with our employee policy. In this role, you should: - have strong ability to work independently and take responsibility - have good communication skills and express yourself clearly and eloquently in both speech and writing, in Swedish and English - have strong analytical skills, identify cause and effect relationships, and draw conclusions efficiently - be driven and take initiative to achieve results and established goals - have strong collaboration skills and contribute to team development You should also have: - university education of at least 180 credits (120 credits) in law - several years of current and relevant work experience from intelligence operations - several years of current and relevant work experience in economic crime It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience with international collaboration. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience with excise taxes. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience with project management. Good to Know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision. For some of our work tasks in security classification, Swedish citizenship is required. Due to the nature of the work tasks, the position offers the possibility of limited remote work.
