The Surgery Department encompasses surgical operations at CSK. The operations in Kristianstad include both planned and acute care and is divided into vascular, colorectal, breast and plastic, upper gastro/endocrine, and acute teams. The work includes everything from ward duties, operating room, to outpatient clinics and acute care shifts. Centralsjukhuset in Kristianstad (CSK) is the acute hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here acute care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and sense of community of a smaller hospital. We have approximately 2,600 employees. 7 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are now seeking non-licensed resident physicians for our departments within the Surgery Department at Centralsjukhuset in Kristianstad. These are temporary positions running from February 2027 through August 2027. The job duties are typical for a resident physician in a surgical department, such as making rounds with the attending physicians, admitting and discharging patients, writing referrals and prescriptions, and more. In addition to duties in our departments, we offer the opportunity to receive an introduction to work in acute care. After the introduction, there is an opportunity to take additional on-call shifts on weekends as a surgical primary on-call physician. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who is a resident physician. To be eligible, you must have a medical degree and be awaiting your specialist training (AT), or alternatively you must have completed up to and including semester ten of medical school and thus be eligible to work as a temporary non-licensed resident physician under general dispensation. Swedish language proficiency at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. Applications without documentation regarding language and educational certificates will not be considered. As a person, you are curious and can take your own initiatives based on your abilities. You have high social competence and see it as self-evident to treat your patients in the best way. Furthermore, you are good at collaborating, are flexible, and have good communication skills.
