About the Operations Neuropsychiatry is one of five adult psychiatry operational areas within Sahlgrenska University Hospital. We provide specialized psychiatric care with a focus on memory-related diseases, neuropsychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, psychiatry for deaf and hard of hearing patients, psychiatry for patients with eating disorders, psychiatry for patients with intellectual disabilities, and patients with Huntington's disease. We are now seeking physician assistants for the Neuropsychiatry Clinic East and West units. What We Offer We offer you the opportunity to work as a physician assistant in an educational and developmental environment with daily supervision by a specialist in a dual-disciplinary clinic. The clinics work based on evidence and structured approaches and are in constant development. There may be some opportunity to participate in development work and/or research. Working as a physician assistant with us provides valuable qualification for AT, BT, and ST specialization in psychiatry. This is a fixed-term position for 6 months with the possibility of extension. Job Responsibilities Standard duties of a physician assistant in psychiatric care including on-call services. About You We are looking for someone with a medical degree who wants to work with us for an extended period. Having a license to practice is a merit. Experience in healthcare work, especially in psychiatry, is a merit. As a person, you are passionate about patient interactions. You have a strong ability to work independently when required but are a team player when needed. You are efficient and results-oriented while also being thorough, spreading positivity, and wanting to continuously learn more. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
