About the Operations Regional Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine is a specialized pediatric operation serving children and young people aged 0-17 years in both outpatient and inpatient care. The mission includes assessment and treatment at clinics (acute and planned), day care, ward care (neonatal and general pediatric care), and home healthcare (SSIH). The regional operation has 4 wards with a total of 34 beds primarily for pediatric patients but also provides beds for patients from other operations such as orthopedics, surgery, child and adolescent psychiatry, and occasionally adult patients to support the adult side. Outpatient operations are located in four towns: Sollefteå, Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. Inpatient operations are in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik, where we also offer play therapy for our patients. In total, the operation has approximately 200 employees and is led by a department manager, eight unit managers, and two physicians with medical leadership responsibilities. This is a full-time temporary position for 6 months with a start date to be agreed upon. Job Responsibilities We offer a position as physician assistant in pediatrics and adolescent medicine that naturally meets all requirements from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You will receive a thorough introduction and an individual training plan. We place great emphasis on a good work environment and excellent training. As a physician in training with us, you will continuously receive training in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. We also have an internal training program and simulation exercises conducted with other professional categories.
