We see great value in collaborating with other stakeholders in society. Primary Care District East is a base unit with two health centers, Ålidhem and Holmsund. Ålidhem Health Center is located on Tvistevägen, near Ålidhem center in Umeå. The health center has approximately 23,000 registered patients and we are about 100 employees making this possible. We are now looking for two associate physicians to join our team at Ålidhem Health Center - Could it be you? JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an associate physician with us, you contribute to taking good care of people and helping them feel better. As an associate physician at Ålidhem Health Center, you gain knowledge and experience of working in primary care and within the specialist field of general medicine in ST-like training forms. We have extensive experience in mentoring and a work approach that enables you to develop as a physician. We prioritize ensuring that associate physicians with us experience support and guidance because we know it is important in this role. We work with a focus on continuity, patient safety, and quality. You work independently with your own clinic and meet patients of all ages with various health-related concerns; experienced physicians are available for consultation when needed. You will also work in our assessment team together with Physicians, Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily seeking someone with Swedish medical licensure, but those with a medical degree are also welcome to apply. You are a present and positive person who, with knowledge and care, sees the patient and contributes to a holistic perspective that improves and strengthens the care process. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people. You function well within the work methods and workflows we have in primary care, are self-driven, and can take responsibility for your workday. You have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. We consider it a merit if you have experience working in primary care at a health center. Employment Type: Fixed-term position.
