Sysav is now seeking an additional Maintenance Technician! As a Maintenance Technician at Sysav, you work to ensure reliable and well-functioning energy facilities in an operation with high demands on safety and quality. You will become part of an experienced team where collaboration, technical expertise and responsibility are central – and where your work contributes to a more sustainable region.
In this role, you work with preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance to ensure high operational reliability in our facilities. At Sysav you get a developing and varied job with technical challenges every day.

Your Team
You will become part of a competent and experienced team consisting of eight maintenance technicians. Work often takes place in groups of two or more depending on the task. The team is characterized by a strong safety culture, great sense of responsibility and very good camaraderie – at Sysav we help each other and have fun together even in a busy everyday.
Your Role
As a Maintenance Technician you work in our energy facilities with:
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes and hoists
• Improvement work to increase operational reliability and technical availability
• Minor new installations and support in procurement projects
• Reporting in our maintenance system (Hexagon EAM)
• Contact with suppliers and contractors
• Internal contacts with various operating units
To thrive it is important that you:

• Have an interest in mechanics and enjoy practical technical work
• Are quality-conscious, responsible and thorough
• Are solution-oriented and like to take initiative
• Communicate clearly and work well in a group
Important Experience
• Upper secondary education in mechanics, workshop or equivalent, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, service or repair. 3–5 years of experience is desired, but less experience may also be relevant.
• Experience reading technical drawings
• Computer skills and interest in digital support systems
• Driver's license B
Merits
If you have education or knowledge in any one or more of the following areas, it is an advantage
• Forklift certification
• Fall protection certification
• Lift certification/mobile work platforms
• Welding skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics
