Your work tasks
As a Maintenance Technician, you play a central role in ensuring that Orthex machines, equipment and production systems function effectively and safely. You become part of a committed maintenance team of approximately 10 people and work closely with production, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as technical improvements.
In the role you will, among other things:
*Perform preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability
*Troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions in mechanical and electrical systems
*Monitor and optimize machines and systems for safe and stable production
*Participate in projects, installations and technical improvement work
*Work actively with 5S and continuous improvements
*Document performed maintenance work in the maintenance system
*Contact with suppliers and external contractors
For the right person there are good opportunities in the long term to develop within the organization and take the next step towards a role as Team Leader or Coordinator within maintenance operations.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has technical training in, for example, electrical, automation or industrial fields, or has acquired equivalent competence through work experience. You have at least three years of experience in maintenance work within manufacturing industry and thrive in a senior and independent role where you take personal responsibility for planning, prioritizing and driving your work forward.
We would like to see that you have:
*Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics
*Understanding of electrical systems, electrical engineering and control technology
*Experience or interest in automation and robotics
*Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and technical documentation
*Experience of preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial environment
*Good computer skills and experience working in maintenance systems
*Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
*Basic knowledge of English
To succeed in the role, you are a responsible and solution-oriented person with a strong interest in technology. You work in a structured and thorough manner, have good analytical abilities and enjoy identifying and solving problems. You are a team player who works well with others, while feeling comfortable taking your own initiative when needed. It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a team leader, with responsibility for daily management, planning and prioritization of work orders.
