We're now looking for an experienced maintenance technician with a mechanical focus to join our team in Markaryd. Here you'll have a key role in keeping production running – when it really matters. You'll use your experience in an environment where the pace varies, problem-solving is central, and your efforts make a difference every day.
A Day on the Job
When something stops, you're quickly on the spot. You troubleshoot, fix, and ensure equipment gets back in operation – with your own responsibility for analysis and solutions.
The work is hands-on with close collaboration with production and other departments. You prioritize based on operational needs and document work for follow-up.
Working hours are arranged in a 12-hour shift schedule with alternating work and off weeks. The work week consists of a continuous shift period of 7 days, Thursday–Wednesday.
The role includes:
Work safely and conduct risk assessments
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures during downtime
Work closely with production and other departments
Plan, document, and follow up in our maintenance systems
Contribute to improvements that increase availability and efficiency
Does This Sound Like You?
You have several years of experience in maintenance work within industry and are used to independently handling troubleshooting and corrective maintenance in an operation where high availability is critical.
Qualifications
Experience with independent troubleshooting and corrective maintenance in industrial settings
Strong mechanical competence
Swedish fluency (spoken and written) plus basic English
Class B driver's license
Additional knowledge in electrical systems, experience with PLC controls, or work in an automated production environment is considered a merit.
