As a maintenance technician, you'll become part of an engaged team responsible for ensuring high availability and operational reliability of the facility's machinery. You work closely with production, handling both urgent issues and long-term improvements to ensure efficient and stable operations. The role offers great variety in tasks and the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in areas that interest you. As new to the role, you'll receive thorough onboarding and support from experienced colleagues to set you up for success. Examples of work tasks: Troubleshooting and repair of machines and production equipment. Preventive and corrective maintenance. Handling acute operational disruptions. Training and support for operators. Participation in improvement and development work to increase operational reliability and efficiency. Collaboration with production and other functions to ensure smooth operations. Working hours are primarily during daytime. After the introductory period, on-call duty is included according to a rotating schedule. Your Profile We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who is motivated by solving technical problems. You're curious, responsible, and thrive in a role where you can combine hands-on work with troubleshooting and improvement work. We believe you'll succeed in this role if you: Have technical education at upper secondary level or higher, such as in technology, industry, workshop, or electrical work. Have experience working in maintenance, production, or other technical operations, or alternatively have a strong technical interest and practical experience from, for example, automotive mechanics or similar. Communicate fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English. We consider it meritorious if you have: Experience from a production or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of machine processing, such as milling or turning. Experience with automation, control systems, or industrial equipment. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance requirements at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
