About the Role As a Maintenance Specialist, you are responsible for developing and ensuring efficient maintenance within production operations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, advanced troubleshooting and technical improvements to production equipment. You contribute specialized mechanical expertise, conduct root cause analyses and drive improvement initiatives to increase operational reliability. You also support production through training and coaching of maintenance technicians and operators, and participate in development projects related to connected machines and monitoring systems. Your Key Responsibilities • Oversee and develop preventive maintenance work within the production unit. • Perform advanced troubleshooting and conduct root cause analyses for technical failures and production stoppages. • Drive technical improvements and optimization of production equipment for increased availability and quality. • Train and coach maintenance technicians and operators in maintenance, troubleshooting and technical methods. • Participate in inspections, quality work and development projects related to connected machines and monitoring systems. Who Are You? • You have a technical education at upper secondary or vocational level and at least five years of experience working as a maintenance technician or in a similar role. • You have excellent knowledge of mechanics and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. You are comfortable using diagnostic tools and reading technical documentation. • You work in a structured and analytical manner, have good problem-solving abilities and enjoy sharing your knowledge through training and coaching others. • You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a valid Class B driver's license. • As a person, you are responsible, proactive and have a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvements. Who Are We? You will join a dedicated maintenance team of approximately 30 employees responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment in engine block manufacturing. We work in close collaboration between maintenance, production and engineering functions to ensure safe, stable and efficient production.
