A smart and meaningful choice Do you want to help develop maintenance work in Kroksjön? We are now looking for a collaborative maintenance planner. Your next workplace? At the sawmill in Kroksjön, we process timber from the forests of Västerbotten. Here we produce everything from sawn goods to building products for building material retailers. We also customize certain products directly for the house building industry for efficient construction. We capitalize on the unique values of the slow-grown, strong quality raw material we have, which gives our products high quality. We are driven by our passion for wood products and are at the forefront of using new technology to maximize the use of raw materials. We have around 100 employees. Our sawmill is located approximately 1 mile southwest of Skellefteå. Together with Bygdsiljum and Martinsons building systems, we enable delivery from seed to finished timber house. We want to be an enabling force in circular and future-proof society building. But regardless of what role we have, we all share the same goal: to create sustainability and climate benefits for future generations. Your future challenge As a maintenance planner with us, you will have a central role where you will lead mechanical maintenance work within production. You will work closely with both supervisors, maintenance mechanics, and other personnel at the sawmill. The main tasks in the role are as follows: Planning and preparation: You will create and prepare both work instructions and spare parts so that our maintenance mechanics and maintenance technicians can perform the work well and safely. Continuous improvements and preventive maintenance: In recent years, we have made a major shift toward working more proactively with preventive maintenance. Together with colleagues, you will identify and drive improvement work and preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of unplanned downtime. Planned maintenance shutdowns: You will prepare, plan, and conduct both major and shorter production shutdowns. Your ability to manage work and prioritize correctly will therefore be a success factor for production to run as smoothly as possible. Through your work, you contribute to ensuring that our customers receive their goods on time and with good quality. Since maintenance needs vary from day to day, your work days will also have varying content and pace. The role does not include personnel responsibility. To succeed in the role We are looking for someone who is interested in and has good knowledge of mechanics, as this creates the conditions and understanding to plan work well. In addition, we would like you to have previous experience working with maintenance planning, coordination, and blueprint reading. It is a great advantage if you have previous experience with mechanical maintenance work or relevant industrial technical education. We would like you to have good computer skills and feel comfortable working in digital systems, as correct information in the systems is a prerequisite for efficient maintenance. To succeed in the role, we would like you to be a responsible person who values good dialogue, as good cooperation creates our success. As a person, you are service-oriented and have the ability to adjust your work pace when required. You can quickly grasp different challenges and tasks related to the work, and are attentive to details to ensure both quality and safety in the workplace.
